Bugsystory.15  &  new bar menu

The Bugsy's Bar book set contains 2 separate books. One is the new bar menu and the other one is a summary of the fifteen-year history of the bar.

Bugsystory.15 is a book summarizing the milestones of the past 15 years of the bar's existence, complemented with interviews with the bar gurus, architects, graphic designers, but mainly with all who have had the opportunity to work in this bar, thus contributing to its success. The author is the bartender emeritus Mr. Alexander Mikšovic, a graduate of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Journalism of Charles University. The book is written only in Czech.

The new bar menu does not follow the rules of gastronomy but concentrates on selected drinks in chapters with abstract titles. Each chapter is supported by a story represented by watercolor paintings of the premier Czech graphic designer Jan Jiříček, who worked on creating the pictures for 4 months! The menu was compiled by Jan Braniš, conductor of the Bugsy's Bar star team. The menu contains 65 drinks, which include drinks with a historical story, as well as new drinks by the bar's own bartenders. The book is bilingual (CZ/EN).
